Stephanie Renee Deajon
May 8, 1974 – March 26, 2000
The Stephanie Deajon Scholarship was established in May 2000 to honor the memory of Stephanie Deajon and her dedication to her high school students and the teaching profession.
This scholarship is awarded to a senior who excels in leadership, academics and Christian character. The student must also have at least a 3.5 GPA and have overcome some type of hardship yet remained dedicated to his/her studies.
Candidates are selected by teachers and faculty with the final decision being made by the Executive Director of SRDSF.
The high schools that have participated are the following:
- Hull Daisetta High School Daisetta, Texas
- Abundant Life Christian School LaMarque, Texas
The amount of the scholarship varies each year depending upon the amount of money raised throughout the academic year. The minimum amount awarded is $1500.00.
